So, many of you have heard that Amber and I are working on a plan to move out of Washington state and right now we have our sights on Colorado. Please know that we love all of you in the NW and don't want you to feel as though we are trying to leave you but we do feel like a new start is in order for many reasons: - I am ready for a job change, the plan is to stay with Intel but change job functions
- We have both lived in the NW all of our lives and desire a fresh start
- Seth is still young and not in schools with friends, ect.
- We desire to have colder winters that will include more snow for Seth to play in
Given these things and more we have been formulating a plan to leave WA state since early 2005. The plan was to move in the summer of 2006. This has been brought in and pushed out as some job opportunities that have come and gone but our main goal remains to move out of WA in 2006. We know that we will miss you terribly and plan to keep in contact through the phone, email and this website (which is why we are working hard to keep it updated and will continue to do so), but we do feel we need a fresh start in our lives and that now is the best time for this to happen! You may have heard that we were looking at Montana which we were, but there just isn't a good job market for my skill set in Montana and so we have set our sights on Colorado which has a much better technology market for me to find work, Intel has 3 sites there, and it's the home of the Denver Broncos Thank you all for your prayers and support in this! The more we pray about this ourselves the more we feel as though God does have a plan for us to move, we are just waiting on Him. Lots of love, Jed, Amber & Seth |
