Here is a really cute picture of our little guy. Lately he has been adding some interesting things to his abilities and has hit a few milestones so I thought I would share some of them here:

  • BIG BOY BED - Seth has moved to a big boy bed, actually it's just his crib minus one of the sides, but he has the freedom to get out and do whatever he wants in his room now instead of sleeping. He has done a remarkable job transitioning other than the falling out of bed (we put a folded up comforter down so he doesn't get hurt). Mom(Amber) did spend most of the first night sleeping on the floor next to him to try and limit how often he fell out though.

  • SWIMMING LESSONS - This weekend will be the start of Seth's first swimming lessons. We are taking him to the YMCA to introduce him to a whole new world of water Cool. He loves his bath-times and usually wants to stay in longer so I'm guessing he'll take to this very well!

  • Grandpa has always been able to talk like Donald Duck and Dad(me) has been making an effort to do so too. Now whenever Amber or I start talking like this Seth tends to try too. He doesn't know how to do it but he talks from the back of his throat sort-of getting the same sound trying to copy what we say Tongue out

  • The picture at the top was taken during a new thing Seth has been doing. He will get really excited, make this face and sort of laugh through his teeth and sometimes snort. It is really cute to watch and I thought that this picture especially looked like Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbes" comic books.

  • Seth has taken to running around and spinning. He got a sit-and-spin toy from Grandma for Christmas and since he isn't able to work that too well yet but likes the spinning he does it standing up.

Well those are some of the neat things we are experiencing as parents. It is so cool to see the little ones grow up, and very different if you are the parents and not jus the Uncle/Aunt!

--> Below is a picture of a fort Seth and I built the other day. Dad came home during the day while mom had a doctor appointment and we had TONS of fun messing the house up and basically just being boys.Innocent
